In this video, I will show you how to install a Mr. Cool Advantage mini-split on my garage. They make a DIY unit, but with a few extra steps and tools, you can install this one for a lot less money.

I do not recommend purchasing the line set cover from Amazon like I did, as it is ridiculously overpriced. Instead, buy a section of 4x3 square metal downspout from Home Depot and cut it to the length you need. You can make an end cap out of some sheet metal, a hammer, and a vise.
