Some older models of the JVC Everio are not recognized by iMovie so you have to manually import the clips and convert them so this is exactly what this video shows you how to do. It's a very simple, and easy process with the use of Handbrake. Sometimes iMovie bugs out so you have to find an alternative way to import your clips so this will work perfectly for you.
