Want to hide handwriting in Samsung Notes without deleting it?
The Tape feature on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra lets you cover handwritten content while keeping the original handwriting underneath.
This can be useful for study notes, quizzes, answers, diagrams, and chess puzzles.

How to use Tape
- Open Samsung Notes.
- Open a handwriting note.
- Remove the S Pen.
- Swipe through the toolbar and find the Tape icon.
- Tap it to activate it.
- Use the S Pen to draw over the handwriting you want to cover.

Customize Tape
- Tap the Tape icon twice to open its settings.
- You can:
* Adjust the thickness using the slider.
* Turn Straighten lines on or off.
* Turn Adjust thickness to text on or off.
* Choose a Color.
* Choose a Pattern.
* Use Remove all tapes to remove all tape from the currently opened note.

Unlike an eraser, Tape covers your handwriting without deleting it, so you can remove the tape later and reveal the information underneath.
