🐶‼️ HOW TO PET A DOG ‼️🐶
Not every pup wants a cuddle - and that’s okay! Here’s how to do it right:
1️⃣ Ask first 🗨️ Always check with the dog’s human before approaching.
2️⃣ Crouch down sideways and let the dog come and sniff.
3️⃣ They may then come close to you or lean into you. Depending on the dog. Do not put pressure on them.
5️⃣ Treats? Ask first ‼ Never offer your own snacks. Ask if the owner has safe treats.
6️⃣ Respect boundaries - Not all dogs want to be cuddled by strangers.
✨ Dogs are individuals. Be kind, be patient, and let them set the pace.

В заключение на Спешната мисия в Аржентина Ви предлагаме един детайлен поглед на всичко, което се случи досега.
62 големи котки, две мечки - една спешна мисия в Аржентина #EmergencyMissionArgentina 🦁🐅🐻
През юли 2025 г. направихме история: подписахме Меморандум за разбирателство с правителството на Аржентина, който очертава нашата обща цел – да сложим край на частното отглеждане и търговията с големи котки в страната. Това историческо споразумение постави основата на нещо изключително, отвеждайки ни директно към бившия зоопарк Лухан.
Знаехме, че ни очаква много работа – от организиране на логистиката, включително палатки и работни пространства, до опознаване на терена и срещи с всички заинтересовани страни и животните на място. Но не се поколебахме. Само за няколко седмици нашият експертен екип, сред който имаше и български представители, ръководен от д-р Амир Халил и подкрепен от ветеринарите Юлия и Франк от Института „Лайбниц“ за изследване на зоопаркове и дивата природа, извърши 64 пълни ветеринарни прегледа.
Леченията бяха животоспасяващи:
✔️ Кастрация на всички мъжки големи котки, за да се предотврати размножаването
✔️ Лечение на сериозни дентални проблеми
✔️ Медицинска грижа за здравословни проблеми и рани, причинени от неподходящи условия
Зад кулисите усилията бяха също толкова интензивни: безкрайна координация с местните власти, купища документи и международен екипен труд, за да направим тази мисия възможна. Всеки детайл имаше значение, защото всеки живот имаше значение.
Тази мисия обедини страстни професионалисти от цял свят – и Вас, нашата невероятна общност. Вашата подкрепа ни вдъхновяваше дори когато се появяваха предизвикателства. ❤️🔥
А това е само началото. Настоящият ни приоритет е да намерим подходящите дългосрочни решения за всяко животно, които да са съобразени както с неговия вид, така и със специалните му нужди. 🔍

It’s that time of year at Arosa Bear Sanctuary – hibernation is just around the corner!
The four bears are slowing down:
✅ Resting a LOT
✅ No longer eating or drinking
✅ Barely any lavatory breaks (nature’s way of saving energy!)
They’re finally entering the cosy season. 💤
Meimo & Amelia have snuggled into their cosy den together – just like in previous years.
Sam & Jamila are still prepping, digging nesting material into other dens and switching between them. But at night? They love curling up together in one den. 🐾
