Kirilee Cosplay | How to give unsolicited advice to cosplayers, costumers or general creative people (DON'T) @KirileeCosplay | Uploaded March 2021 | Updated October 2024, 4 hours ago.
Ever posted something that you were super happy with, you were proud, you had spent hours, days or even months working on it, maybe even drop a bit (or a lot) of cash on it.... and then someone says "You didn't do that right"?
Sound familiar? Has it happened to you?
Unfortunately, it happens to all of us at one point or another (and unintentionally we too may have given people some advide they didn't actually ask for).
This is how I deal with it and how I think is the best way to be mindful when giving advice.
Please note: These are just my opinions on the topic. You are more than welcome to have your own.
