Until Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 23:59 UTC, a Shiny Chi-Yu with Fire as its Tera Type will be appearing in 5-star Tera Raid Battles. During this event, Trainers worldwide can unite against this Ruinous Pokémon for a chance to add it to their teams.
Unlike standard Tera Raid Battles, Shiny Chi-Yu cannot be caught upon being defeated. Instead, if the total number of player victories against this Pokémon collectively meets or exceeds one million during its event period, Shiny Chi-Yu will subsequently be available to claim via Mystery Gift during its distribution period.
