Several people have contacted me and asked about how to get their local school on board with teaching amateur radio in the classroom. I have been fortunate in that I have been allowed by my administration to teach amateur radio to some of my classes. We have gotten 25 students and 3 staff members licensed this school year, and we were cut short by the pandemic. We will discuss things that worked, and things that didn't work in getting the school and the kids to realize the benefits of ham radio.
