There is no Scratch block to find which of the 16.7 millions colours is at a given point on the screen in our Scratch Projects. This Scratch tutorial covers the basics of how to go about this using the blocks that we do have. We also build a very simple painting program to make use of this new block and show it off. Once we have this project made, we will make a second episode where we look at the exciting world of image scanning and how this can be sped up even further!
