How to fix an old computer motherboard with this simple fix.

While testing some old PC hardware like motherboards and stuff, I came over one motherboard that had a Dallas RTC real time clock chip. As these have a built in battery that goes dead after so many years, they no longer holds it's memory for storing the BIOS-settings and running the time.

You can get new chips still, but it's quite easy to fix this your self by modifying an existing one.
You just need to be a little handy and be able to solder.
