Once per Day after you get the National Dex the information about a current outbreak is found in the pause menu or alternatively, as in the original games, Lucas/Dawn's little sister can also tell the player what outbreak is currently active.

Absol can be found on Route 213 via Swarm or in the following Undergrounds:
Grassland Cave, Spacious Cave, Dazzling Cave, Stargleam Cavern, Sunlit Cavern and Big Bluff Cavern (NO National Dex needed).

It has 8.81% Catch Rate.
