Prawn here with a quick guide on how to get a Woolly Mammoth as your mount in Icarus. This is one of the hardest creatures to capture and tame from what I've seen. It's much easier to get wolves! The spawns of a Woolly Mammoth seem to be quite random and sporadic. So make sure you're well equipped with ammo, patience and stuff to keep you warm in the arctic region.
