This tutorial is generating script in SQL Server 2014 with Data. it will also covered the topics of generating script with schema only as well as Data only.
Follow some steps to generate script.
1. Run the SQL Server and connect.
2. Go to the Object Explorer in the left side of SQL server Software.
3. Expand the Database folder .
4. Right click on your database that you want to generate script.
5. Click on (Task) than click on (Generate Script).
6. You will get the Introduction page, click on next.
7. You will get the Choose Object page. select entire database and all database object to generate script with all database object. If you select, select specific database object, it will allow you to select specific object like table, view or functions. click next.
8. Now you will get the set scripting option. you can select the location where the script file will be generated. named the script. Click on Advance you will get an option window. select type of data to script. There are three options. a. Data only (it will generate script with only data). b. Schema only(it will generate script with schema object). c. Schema and Data (it will generate script schema with data).
9. click next. after getting success message click on Finish.
10. Use the script file in the saved location.
