Hit the wall during a race? Forget it. Find out what it takes to keep the engine stoked all the way to the finish line.
Taking in nutrition may be the last thing from your mind come race day but fueling up during an endurance event (or a killer workout) is key if you want your body to perform optimally and get you to the finish line. We asked Ultraman athlete and triathlon coach, Andrea Guspie, to share what she does during a triathlon race and for some tips on staying fueled up.
These tips aren't just for Ironman or Ultraman - they apply to any endurance race over 90 minutes. So, whether you're tackling a sprint triathlon, a half marathon or stepping up to longer distances like the Olympic, full marathon or Ironman distance, these tips are for you.
This is the second video in our three-part video series from Andrea talking about fueling up before, during and after your race. While Andrea's expertise is in triathlon, this information is also good for any athlete especially those doing long distance running like marathons, trail running, adventure racing, hiking, skiing, or endurance cycling like a Granfondo.

What works for you during a race? How often do you take in something other than water and what is it? Tell us how you stay fully fueled all the way to the finish line in the comments below or on our website.
