First, reach Trainer Rank Ultra by completing the main requests in the areas like Wither Wasteland, Bleak Beach, and Rocky Ridges. Then unlock the northern island gate to access the Sparkling Skylands.

From there:
• Find Froakie in the Hydrated Pink Tall Grass habitat
• Unlock the secret Waterside Dinghy habitat
• Place duckweed next to a canoe in a high location
• Wait for Dragonite to spawn

Once Dragonite appears, talk to him to unlock Glide instantly.
