What would be an artist without a shaky hand? 😂
At least Clip Studio knows about our weaknesses and offers us ways to fix them.
Here are some more tips to get super duper clean linearts! All options are on the same Correction tab as shown in the reel:
✅ If you pick the highest stabilization number, you’ll notice the brush severely “lags”. That is completely normal! Don’t freak out! The stabilization actually slows down your brush so that it won’t be as sensitive to changes in the movement of your cursor.
✅ If you only want it to help you on really fast or only on really slow strokes, check the Adjust by Speed box (it’s right beneath the Stabilization bar) and choose which strokes you need help with by choosing one of the pen icons that will pop up.
✅ Post-Correction will “correct” your strokes AFTER you make them. E.G.: If the program interprets you did a straight line, it will straight it even more, even if it was slightly jittery.
And as usual, don’t be scared to mess around with any of the other settings. These are just the ones I find the most useful, but every artist is different, and we all have different needs.
