In this video, I would like to share, How to Fix winscomrssrv.dll error with the error name, "There was a problem starting winscomrssrv.dll The specified module could not be found".
In order to fix this error.
Open Google.
In the google search bar, Type "autoruns for windows".
now, click on the search button.
Click on the first link.
Link is: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns
Now click on this link in order to download the Autoruns tool.
After the file has been downloaded, go to the location where the file has been downloaded.
Now Extract this zip file.
double click on this file in order to open it.
If you have 32-bit windows run this exe file or in case if you have 64-bit windows run this exe file
in order to run this exe file, right-click on this exe file and click Run as administrator.
wait for some time, until the opening process has been not completed.
scroll down, and check for any reference to winscomrssrv.dll
if you will find any reference to winscomrssrv.dll then right-click and delete it.
In such case, if you will not find any reference to winscomrssrv.dll
then, go to the Logon section
again scroll down, and check for any reference to winscomrssrv.dll
if you will find any reference to winscomrssrv.dll then right-click and delete it.
In such case, if you will not find any reference to winscomrssrv.dll
then, go to Scheduled Tasks section
again check for any reference to winscomrssrv.dll
if you will find any reference to winscomrssrv.dll
then select it right click and then delete it.
