Once a controller starts drifting, there’s only been two solutions left to you. Buy a new controller and throw away the old one, or replace the faulty potentiometer thumbstick with a new potentiometer thumbstick and hope that it doesn’t start drifting again in 6 months. But now we’ve got an amazing 3rd option. A couple of manufacturers recently released drop-in Hall sensor sticks that work natively with the latest PlayStation and Xbox controllers. And we’ve tested them, and they work!
