Method 1. Run the System File Checker Tool
Inside the command prompt type the following line of command

Method 2. Run the Windows Update troubleshooter

Method 3. Deployment Image & Servicing Management (DISM)
Type the following command to perform a quick health check
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Type the following command to perform an advanced DISM scan
Scan command: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Type the following command to repair the Windows 10 image
Repair command: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Method 4. Rename SoftwareDistribution folder
Inside the command prompt type the following line of command
Type: net stop wuauserv
Type: rename c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution softwaredistribution.old
Type: net start wuauserv
