Sometimes when a battery gets too low (usually from sitting too long) the circuit board designed to protect it won’t allow the battery to charge. If the charger doesn’t sense enough voltage it assumes the battery is bad and won’t charge it.
This method uses another charged good battery, a couple of test leads (or two piece of wire would work), some tape and a T10 security bit to take it apart.
I’ve used and recharged the battery three times since I created this video and it shows no signs of degradation or issues.
