A toilet that keeps running can often be fixed easily by simply adding some liquid soap to the water in the cistern. Often the parts in the system start to stick, this can often be helped by adding some liquid soap, which lubricates the plastic parts. In this house there are three modern dual flush toilets and every now and again, one of them will start to fill for no obvious reason. The addition of liquid soap has fixed all three toilets at some point.
