If you are getting a CORS (cross origin request) error when trying to display a localhost webpage there may be an easy way to fix it if you are using Visual Studio Code. Seeing an error similar to this? "Access 'file:///' from origin 'null' has been blocked by CORS policy: Cross origin requests are only supported for protocol schemes: http, data, chrome, chrome-extension, https".
