After a few people asked me how I would go about adding a motor to my small scissor lift I built in this video youtu.be/M7eAWL5Hpx4 to run it motorized, I decided to make this video on the modification to show how it would be done.
I decided to use a cordless drill motor to show my method of fixing a motor to the lift.
The same method should work even if you scale the design and use a different motor as the lifting mechanism stays the same.
The design can be adapted and used for a motorized router lift, projector lift, table lift, etc
