Do you want to get started with Inline Freestyle Slalom Skating and really take off?
Then we recommend learning the fundamentals of Inline Freestyle Slalom Skating first and starting with the trick shown here, the “Fish”.

The Fish is one of the fundamental tricks in Freestyle Slalom Skating. In this trick, we skate through a line of cones in a snake-like motion with both inline skates. It is one of the most important beginner tricks and provides the perfect foundation for many other tricks in Inline Freestyle Slalom Skating.

The special feature of the Fish is that both skates are kept as parallel as possible while the feet stay close together side by side. By shifting our weight correctly within the feet, we can turn the skates to the left and right while simultaneously generating momentum.

These are the key fundamentals you train with the Fish:

► Weight transfer
► Coordination
► Edge control
► Speed control
