About this video: In this video, we will show you how to find your Minecraft folder on Mac. This is a quick process, and it makes it easy to add mods, resource packs, shaders, and back up your Minecraft worlds.
To get started, open the Minecraft Launcher and go to the Installations tab. You will see all of your Minecraft installations, and each one will have a folder icon next to it. Click the folder icon on the installation you want to access. This works for modded versions of Minecraft as well. From here, your Minecraft folder will open.
However, that is not the only way to find your Minecraft folder. If you cannot get into the Minecraft Launcher, you can still access it. Open Spotlight and type "~/Library/Application Support/Minecraft". You will see a Minecraft folder in your Applications folder appear in the results. Make sure to select the one in your Applications folder and not the Minecraft application itself, since that will likely show up as well. Click that folder, and it will open the same Minecraft folder we accessed through the launcher.
