This is an algebra/precaluclus tutorial covering the method of finding the domain and the range of a quadratic function. In fact, the domain of a quadratic function is always (-inf, inf) since there is no restriction on x. But for the range, we have to find the vertex of the parabola first. Be sure you are familiar with the quadratic equation in the vertex form f(x)=a(x-h)^2+k and the standard form f(x)=ax^2+bx+c.
