Video showing you 3 ways to hard factory reset any NZXT PC desktop tower computer. A NZXT desktop does not have a special “NZXT factory reset” function. The reset process depends on the operating system installed, and almost all NZXT systems use Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Below is the standard way to factory reset the computer.
Factory Reset on Windows 10 / Windows 11 (NZXT PCs)
Method 1: Using Settings (Recommended)
Click Start
Open Settings
Go to:
Windows 11: System → Recovery
Windows 10: Update & Security → Recovery
Under “Reset this PC,” click Reset PC
Choose one option:
Keep my files (removes apps/settings, keeps personal files)
Remove everything (full factory reset)
Choose reinstall method:
Cloud download (downloads fresh Windows)
Local reinstall (uses existing system files)
Confirm and start the reset
Method 2: If Windows Won’t Boot
Turn the PC on and off repeatedly during startup (3 times)
This forces Windows Recovery Environment
Select:
Troubleshoot → Reset this PC
Choose Keep my files or Remove everything
Follow prompts
Important Notes
A factory reset removes installed programs and settings.
“Remove everything” is the closest option to a true factory restore.
NZXT PCs do not include a custom recovery partition unless the system builder added one.
