"I’ve interacted with a lot of people my age and younger over the past couple of years. When I ask what God is doing in their life, they normally give me the same answer:
God just has me in a season of doing nothing . . . I’m just waiting on and pursuing Him.
Several years ago I felt like God was leading me to do this as well. It sounded good and godly in theory, but it was a cover up. The truth is God had put dreams in my heart. But every time I started pursuing these dreams, I would get afraid and give up.
I say this lovingly, but there’s a good chance your “waiting on the Lord” is a disguise for “I am afraid.” —Austin
