This is a difficult boss battle as you can't attack the Proto Mecha Kinb Bob-omb while shielded, nor you can get near it to avoid the bob-ombs to explode on you.

By abusing Luigi's "Steely Stare" skill mixed with "Vamp Attack", you can easily defeat this boss in the same turn you can destroy its shield, ven in the highest difficulty!
