We got inspired by our recent phoenix tutorial, so we decided to keep the fantasy theme going 🧜‍♀️
This week we’re diving into deep, mysterious seas and painting a mermaid with watercolours. It’s a great one to practise your brush skills on too – from broad washes to more intricate details on the tail.
We love fantasy art because it gives so much creative freedom. When you’re drawing something that doesn’t even exist, there are no rules for what it “should” look like 😁🖌️
