Hey art friends! Austin and I are drawing a really funny school locker today. It's a perfect back-to-school lesson, and you get to decorate it however you want. Grab your markers and let's draw!
Personalization ideas: Change the locker color to your school colors, rainbow, or a pastel shade. Add stickers (stars, hearts, sports, dinosaurs), write your name or locker number on the door, give it a silly kawaii face, pick a combo lock or a key lock, line up friends' lockers beside it, or open the door and draw what's inside.
For teachers and parents: This lesson is a great first-week bulletin board, a "what's in your locker" getting-to-know-you activity, or a hallway display where every kid's locker shows their name and favorite things. It also pairs well with a back-to-school unit, fine-motor practice with simple rectangles, and homemade welcome cards.
