In this video, I will show you how to download and install DaVinci Resolve 21 on Windows 11 step by step.
DaVinci Resolve is a powerful video editing software that you can use for video editing, color grading, visual effects, motion graphics, and audio editing.
The best part is that DaVinci Resolve has a free version.
So, let's get started.
🔥 STEP 1: OPEN THE OFFICIAL DAVINCI RESOLVE WEBSITE
First, open your web browser.
Then, search for:
DaVinci Resolve download
Make sure you download DaVinci Resolve only from the official Blackmagic Design website.
I will also put the official download link in the video description.
Once you are on the DaVinci Resolve download page, scroll down to the download section.
🔥 STEP 2: CHOOSE THE FREE VERSION
Here, you will see two versions:
DaVinci Resolve and DaVinci Resolve Studio.
DaVinci Resolve is the free version.
DaVinci Resolve Studio is the paid version and includes additional professional features.
For this tutorial, we are going to download the free version.
Click on DaVinci Resolve Free Download.
🔥 STEP 3: SELECT WINDOWS
Now you will see different download options for operating systems.
Click on Windows.
A form may appear asking for some basic information.
Enter the required information.
Then click the Register and Download button.
The DaVinci Resolve installer will now start downloading to your computer.
Please wait until the download is complete.
🔥 STEP 4: OPEN THE DOWNLOADED FILE
Once the download is complete, open your Downloads folder.
You will see the DaVinci Resolve downloaded file.
Usually, the installer is downloaded as a compressed ZIP file.
Right-click on the file and select Extract All.
Then choose a location and click Extract.
After extracting the file, open the extracted folder.
🔥 STEP 5: START THE INSTALLATION
Inside the folder, you will find the DaVinci Resolve installer.
Double-click the installer file.
If Windows asks for permission, click Yes.
The DaVinci Resolve installer window will now open.
Click Install to begin the installation process.
🔥 STEP 6: ACCEPT THE LICENSE AGREEMENT
You may see a license agreement.
Read the agreement if you want.
Then click I Accept to continue.
The installation process will now begin.
Please wait for DaVinci Resolve to install on your Windows 11 computer.
This may take a few minutes.
🔥 STEP 7: COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION
Once the installation is complete, click Finish.
In some cases, you may be asked to restart your computer.
If you see this option, restart your computer before opening DaVinci Resolve.
STEP 8: OPEN DAVINCI RESOLVE
Now, click the Windows Start menu.
Search for:
DaVinci Resolve
Then click on the DaVinci Resolve application to open it.
The first time you open the software, it may take a little longer.
After that, you will see the DaVinci Resolve Project Manager.
And that's it.
You have successfully downloaded and installed DaVinci Resolve 21 on Windows 11.
