Today’s technique: Thumb Push Cut
This grip gives you both power and high precision. Use the thumb of your supporting hand to push the knife forward, while also controlling and braking the movement. This allows for steady, controlled cuts, especially when working close to your body or making fine adjustments.
It’s a great technique for detailed carving where precision is key.
