This is my How To Video for installing Mac OSX 10.7 on a MBP early 2011 but this will work on any system that currently has Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, Yosemite, or El Capitan on it.
All you need to do this is a system that already has 10.7-10.10 on it because as part of your original install it created a recovery partition and that is what we will be using.
REMEMBER TO BACKUP YOUR DATA! Following this tutorial will wipe your hard drive clean and you will loose all your data YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
IF YOU GET "THE ITEM IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE"
The reason you get this message is YOUR apple id is not associated to an apple operating system.
In the 4 choices you get click "GET HELP ONLINE" This opens Safari.
Click icloud and sign in with your apple id.
Now you can go back to installing screen and the downloading will finally work because you have now shown apple id you've logged in from your computer.
DO Not use someone else's apple id. You'll get all their apps.
