I wanted an easy way to mount my ipad on a tripod so I could take some time-lapse video, take some photos or shoot a video or just hold it in my hand for easy use. I came up with this simple design for a holder using scrap wood. You can insert and remove your ipad quickly and smoothly in a few seconds with the felt lined mounting slots in the wood. The 1/4" x 20 threaded mount makes it easy to put the ipad on a tripod for time lapse, photos and videos or it can be easily and comfortably held with one hand. This ipad holder looks trendy and rustic with a stained wood finish. An afternoon do it yourself project. Can be made for all models of ipad.
