Quick summary :

*Before Your Dive*
- Spare Parts on Boart
- Let people know your travel plans
- Emergency contact (EPIRB / Satellite phones / GPS)

*For yourself*
- Solar Protection (Sunbutter sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, rashguard)
- Dive buddy
- Dive plan (How long you're diving, emergency recall, dive maps)

*In Water*
- Dive Buddy!
- Dive lookout on the boat
- Do not touch marine life (know marine life first aid)
- Stay within your comfort levels (do not try going to break records without the appropriate training and support team)
- Have a dive knife (to cut yourself out of trouble)

I forgot to mention first aid!!! Have your emergency first aid kid and know your emergency solutions.
