Sometimes, you need to know when a mob takes damage. Using some tags and the {HurtTime:10s} entity data, we can detect when a mob is first hit.
It does however, have limitations upon death, and during continuous damage (like fire).
I do hope however that this concept is useful and you are able to follow the tutorial =)
