Cutting anything over 45 degrees on a miter saw is challenging at first glace. But, with this trick, you can cut 60 degree angles as well as many other angles over 45 degrees!

This is a great trick for crown molding, quarter round, trim, finish carpentry, and any other spots you are using a miter saw but struggle to cut the angle you need.

Getting a 30 degree block allows you to then add 30 degrees onto any cut. For 60, it's simply 30 plus 30. Need a 50 degree angle? 30 plus 20. 70 degrees = 30 + 40. You get the idea!
