Let's crochet Barbie Vogue Dress!
My original design!
We will make it in 3 steps:
1. Dress top
2. Dress skirt
3. Back closure and neckline
With this project you will learn extended single crochet and spike stitch.
It is intermediate skill level crochet project.
Recommended crochet hook is size 2.75 mm. You'll also need 1.5 mm hook for back closure beads. I use 3 beads (size 2/0) for back buttons.
The yarn used in the tutorial is Lion Brand Oh Baby cotton red and you can get it on Amazon: amazon.com/dp/B08C6J8P19/ref=nosim?tag=handmadebyr0e-20

ch = chain
esc = extended single crochet
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch

Note: 2 ways to join yarn on skirt rounds:
1. on rounds 3 and 5 I insert hook first through the loop of joining yarn, then insert through first stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop and pull through 2 loops on hook.
2. on round 7 I insert hook first through the first st, then insert through the loop of joining yarn, pull it through, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook.
