Its that time of the year!. Go ahead and make these super easy baby santa booties. They will compliment any outfit they are wearing for the day or leading up to the day!. There are 4 sizes right up to 9 Months. If you use the smallest hook you can like a 2.5mm, you will create a 2 inch bootie which is perfect for the fire place or tree decorations, Just add a loop before cutting the yarn!
The tutorial is for 0-3 months using DK yarn lightweight no 3 and a 3.5mm crochet hook. For the other sizes please follow the same pattern but use the following hook -
New baby - 3mm 7.5-8cm
3-6 months - 4mm 9.5 - 10cm
6-9 months 4.5mm 10-11cm
Always make the sole and if you find that your sole size does not match up due to tension, use the next size hook up or down as require and re make the sole before carrying on with the rest of the shoe. If you are still not getting the size use aran yarn ( Yarn no 4) in the US.
