This step by step tutorial will show you how to crochet a cute chevron / wave little girl's dress.
For size 0 - 3 months use a 4mm crochet hook
For size 3 - 6 months use a 4.5mm crochet hook
For size 6 - 12 months use a 5mm crochet hook
For size 1 - 2 years use a 6mm crochet hook
For size 3 - 4 years use a 7mm crochet hook
For my baby dress I used a 4.5mm crochet hook and Drops Lima yarn (DK weight) in Pearl Grey and Light Beige Mix. I used approximately 3 balls of grey and 1 ball of beige.
