Create setup file with attaching access database .accdb or .mdb with proof in Client PC. It's also covered how to create project with connection access database, how to use application with database in client PC without installing and how to create setup file with access database and use in client PC with 100% proof.
To create setup .exe file with access database full package follow these steps.
1. Create a windows application.
2. Add the database.accdb file in solution explorer.
3. Connect with .accdb file with your project through connection string - OleDbConnection.
4. complete coding in the application
5. Right click on your project in solution explorer, Click on Property.
6. Click on publish in left pane.
7. Select location where you want to publish application.
8. In the application file must select Data File in publish status.
9. Complete the task by following the tutorial.
- you can add setup description link etc.
9. INSTALL this setup file in different computer
Now if you install this .exe file it automatically added the access database.accdb file in system folder where its installed.
First of all we develop a software according to client requirement in c# windows form application with connecting Microsoft access database.accdb.
We usually have the options to submit the software to client through mail or other online server where client can not configure database and we don't have access to clients computer. we should give him a complete package so that he can just run the setup .exe file. in that case we need to create a setup file with attaching database in c# so that he can run and watch output data from Access database.
Note: You can use this application without creating setup file. just take Debug folder from bin folder and run Application.exe file.
