If you want to create multiple rows of text with responsive background in Adobe After Effects, this is a quick way of doing it.
First, if you right click on the text and click “Convert to Paragraph Text”, you can adjust the textbox so that the text continues on a new row automatically when it reaches the edge of the textbox.
Now, you want to go to the “Effects & Presets”-window and search for the effect with the contradictory name “Minimax”.
Add that to the text layer and change the “Channel” to “Alpha”.
Increase the “Radius” to what you prefer and if you want to have a more even background size, you can go to the “Character”-window and change to “All Caps” and there you go.
And to save even more time, download my 12 free motion graphic templates in the comment section below and subscribe for hundreds of time saving tutorials just like this one. Thanks for watching!
