how to create imagery in a song? Well, it's not easy if no one is paying attention to your song. With all the artists out there trying to get a listener's attention, What can you do to get someone invested in your song if they are not paying attention?
There are two key pieces of information we can rely on, 1. The best tool we have for creating imagery is the listener's imagination. And 2. When someone hears a song, especially for the first time, They hear musical elements first.
There is a powerful way to create opportunities for the listener to use their imagination, using the elements of a song that work even if someone isn’t actively listening. In this video, I give you an overview of how to do that.
