How to create circular effects in Sony Vegas
● Drag a clip onto the timeline.
Remember: Rightclick on the clip and switches -- Untick maintain aspect ratio!
● Media Generation -- Solid Colour, whichever colour you want your circle to be.
Layer it above your clip. Add cookie cutter effect (centre circle)
Note: Lower the Opacity!!
The bar at the bottom of the effect is the Keyframes. Set the first keyframe to very small by using the size bar shown in the video.
Bring the timeline cursor forward and then organize the size button to the desired size of the final circle. Split the Solid colour after you have the keyframes where you want them to be.
If you split the Solid Colour layer and then bring it up one layer, and change the colour, the previous split off clip will follow the same as you edit it. It is best to bring down a new media generation of colour to continue on.
● Make sure to add a fade out for awesomeness.
● Add text for a finished result.
