Learn how to craft a DIY dragonfly clothespin using Duck Tape® brand washi tape in this easy craft tutorial from DIY crafter and taper Simply Duck Designs. This dragonfly was made using a pink polka dot printed washi tape and a vibrant color theme, but with hundreds of colors and prints available, you can substitute these tapes with any style you choose.

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED
Clothes Pin
Card Stock
Scissors
Googly Eyes
Craft Mat
INSTRUCTIONS
(00:33) First thing you will do is cover the top of your clothes pin. You'll do this by measuring the length of the clothespin, cutting the tape, placing the tape down and then cutting off any excess from the sides.
(01:08) Then you will bring in your card stock to start making the wings. Place two pieces of washi tape down on the card stock. One piece of tape will be 3 in. and the other 4 in.
(01:30) Next you're going to cut those strips of tape out.
(01:42) Then you will cover the other side of the strips with a piece of tape.
(01:58) Next you're going to round the ends of the pieces into the shapes of wings.
(02:18) After you will place a piece of your double-sided tape on the middle of the strips of card stock and slide the wings into the clothespin.
(02:45) Finish your dragonfly by attaching googly eyes to the top of the clothespin.
