Day 18/42: Temperature & Randomness

Yesterday, we talked about latency.
Now we talk about predictability.

Temperature controls randomness during inference.

Low temperature = same answer every time.
High temperature = more variation.

Neither is “better.”
It depends on the task.

Facts want low temperature.
Creativity wants higher temperature.
