A simple way to connect your TV sound to a mixer for Karaoke playback using the Prozor Digital to Analog Audio converter. Please note that this is for use with an older non-HDMI home theater receiver.

In this case I am using the Behringer Xenyx X1204 but the Xenyx 802 and other mixers will work the same way. You can then use your smart TV, Roku, Amazon Prime or Apple TV to stream Karaoke and use your home theater system for sound by connecting the mixer to you amplifier. No need to connect the HDMI. The mixer is then connected to your home receiver.
