To enable FTP in Notepad++, you first need to ensure that the NppFTP plugin is installed. You can install it by navigating to Plugins → Plugins Admin… in Notepad++.
After installing the plugin, open Notepad++ and go to Plugins → NppFTP → Show NppFTP Window.
In the NppFTP window, click the gear icon and select Profile Settings.
Click Add new to create a new FTP profile.
Name the FTP profile connection and enter your FTP credentials in the Connection tab.
These credentials include your hostname, port, username, and password.
Once you have added the FTP information, click Close
Now right click on your new profile and slect connect to your server.
Your Notepad++ should display your FTP connection log and details at the bottom of the NppFTP window.
