I had recently spent some time making a template on the CNC that had to be really accurate. I was disappointed to discover that it was not the size that it should have been and found that my CNC cutter used for the job was not the size that it should have been due to wear. After some trial and error I found a way to compensate for the wear on the cutter and want to share this simple technique to set things right not just for one particular job but for all future jobs with that particular cutter.
I am using Vectric Carve Desktop but the functionality shown is available with all of their products:
