MAMMUT | How to | Climbing Ep. 02 | Know your knots @mammut | Uploaded June 2022 | Updated October 2024, 19 hours ago.
When it comes to the knots you need to know for an outdoor sport climb, the number is just about manageable: with the Figure of 8 and the Rethreaded (or Retraced Bowline), you have two options for tying in – and the first also comes in handy for other things.
Join us at the imposing wall of Prato, one of Ticino’s sport climbing gems deep down the Maggia Valley. There we meet Johanna “Joey” Ratschiller, experienced climber and climbing instructor, to watch and learn her tricks on the rope – most suitable for beginner and intermediate rock climbers. Happy knotting, we’ll see you at the crag.
